How does the Automatic Deadline Setup work?

The Automatic Deadline feature in Assignment Deadlines Pro allows you to set dynamic due dates based on when each student enrolls in the course. This is especially useful for self-paced or rolling enrollment courses, ensuring each learner gets a fair and personalized deadline.

Here’s how it works:

  • Enable the Assignment Deadline feature from the Assignment Settings section.
  • Select the Automatic option as your deadline type.
  • Set the number of days (e.g., 5 days) after enrollment when the assignment should be due.
  • The plugin will automatically calculate and assign the deadline for each student based on their individual enrollment date.

For example: If a student enrolls on August 1st and the deadline is set for 5 days, their assignment will be due on August 6th.
