Setting Threshold & Product Rules
These settings allow you to fine-tune how cart message thresholds are calculated and which products appear in selection lists.
To access these Settings, go to: Click on Cart Messages > Global Settings > Threshold & Product Rules
Apply Coupon to Threshold: This setting allows you to include the coupon value in the calculation of the threshold for cart messages. It is specifically applicable to message types based on “Amount-Based Message”. If a coupon of $10 is applied and the cart total is $50 before the coupon, enabling this option will adjust the total to $40. As a result, the message will indicate that the threshold has not been met.
Include Tax in Threshold Calculation: This setting allows you to include the tax amount of products in the calculation of the threshold value for cart messages. If the threshold for the cart message is set to $50, and the cart subtotal is $45 with $5 in taxes, enabling this option will include the tax amount, making the total $50. As a result, the cart message will indicate that the threshold has been met.
Include Out-of-Stock Products: This setting allows you to display out-of-stock products in the product list. This enables the admin to select out-of-stock products and configure a cart message for them too.
Include Discontinued Products: This setting displays discontinued products in the product list, allowing admins to select them and configure cart messages. Only available if the ‘ Discontinued Products Stock Status’ plugin is activated.

Setting Widget to Display Progress Bar and Download Cart As PDF
Setting Widget to Display Progress Bar and Download Cart As PDF
If you prefer using widgets instead of shortcodes, you can easily add the Progress Bar and Download Cart as PDF features using the provided widgets. These are useful when working with widgetized areas like sidebars, footers, or custom widget sections created via themes or page builders.
Available Widgets:
Dynamic Cart Progress Bar – Displays a live progress indicator based on cart total and configured threshold. Make sure you enable the show progress bar in the global setting.
Cart PDF Download Button – Adds a button allowing users to download their cart as a PDF file.
Steps to Add Widgets:
From your WordPress Dashboard, go to Appearance → Widgets.
Locate the widget area where you want to display the feature (e.g., Cart Sidebar, Footer, or Custom Widget Area).
Note: Make sure the widget area you choose is actually rendered on the Cart Page. If your theme does not display any widget area on the cart page by default, you may need to create a custom one or use a page builder that supports widgets.
Search for the widget:
“Dynamic Cart Progress Bar” for the progress indicator
“Cart PDF Download Button” for the PDF button.
Drag and drop the desired widget into the selected widget area.
